Mediterranean Backpacking Trip - Start (Update)

Alright, it's 8:45 in the morning, and I'm leaving my house at 9 for a flight departing just before 12. Making some last minute preparations, I'm checking the weather and some last bits of information before I leave. I'm excited to go, but it still hasn't hit me what I am doing yet. At the same time, the lengthy trip makes leaving home difficult as well. But, I'll be in Madrid soon, and I plan on studying some more about the different countries and make my "cheat sheets" on the flights. I have a 5 hr layover at Philly, but I thought it would be better the make sure I do not miss my connecting flight to Madrid. Also, the weather in Morocco looks scarily hot! 30s to 40s for the long term forecast! If I decide to go on a one day expedition to the Sahara there, it's going to be some interesting weather!
